I'm attending the NAAL for the second time. The first was in Atlanta, just before the world was transformed by the COVID pandemic. I’m not in Toronto this year, unfortunately, but will be attending as many sessions as I can, virtually. I’m interested in both the ECAW Seminar and the Queering Liturgy Seminar. Looking forward to meeting new colleagues, sharing ideas for thinking about, teaching, and doing the sacraments and offices. I'm especially interested in seemingly strange convergences -- e.g., between ancient and contemplative liturgies and Pentecostal-charismatic contemporary worship.
