Barbara Haggh-Huglo, Professor of Music (Musicology) at the University of Maryland, College Park, has published widely on sacred music and music in towns and at courts before 1500. She edited chanted saints offices for St Elizabeth of Hungary and St Hilary of Poitiers and is about to send to press her book 'Recollecting the Virgin Mary in Music: Guillaume Du Fay's Chant across Five Centuries' (American Institute of Musicology). She is a past Vice-President of the International Musicological Society and a Past Chair of the IMS Study Group 'Cantus Planus.'
