Chelsea Brooke Yarborough is a native of Baltimore, MD. She received her Bachelor's degree from Elon University (2012) and her Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity (2015).  Currently, Chelsea is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Homiletics and Liturgics at Vanderbilt University. Her research interests include observing rituals and liturgy beyond the traditional church, interrogating genre restrictions in both preaching and worship, critically considering the problems and potential of multicultural worship and engaging black feminist and womanist methodology to center Black women’s contributions and experiences.
